Tonight at dinner DH saw some lady that he apparently knew from his childhood. He introduced me to her and then she said, "Do you guys have any kids?" DH said, "No, not yet." She said, "Well, what's wrong with you?!" I could have died. She meant it in a joking way but it wasn't funny. I said, "Well, probably a lot. We've been trying for a while...."

Then later before she left she came over to say goodbye and she said, "Next time I see you, I expect to see a grandson or granddaughter." Really?! Some people..........

Haha, thanks @DangerMuffin23. I haven't seen SIL since mid-August at a family reunion and I pretty much tried to avoid her. DH and I were in charge of the kids games at the reunion and she acted like we knew nothing about kids though. We did a game where the kids had to throw ping pong balls into cups and I gave the first kid a whole cup of balls. I figured he would figure it out that he had to throw one at a time but instead he tried to throw the whole cup of balls out. SIL said, "You have to explain it better than that!" Look lady, I work with kids every day of my life...I think I know how to deal with them just as well if not better than you do. The less I see SIL the better honestly.

Thanks ladies. It didn't really upset me but I just can't believe that someone would say that. She directed it towards me too...like, "What's wrong with you that you don't have kids yet?" Oh well...some people just don't get it!
